Here up for sale is a vintage 1968 poster showing astronauts Michael Collins and John Young preparing a simulated flight manned altitude test of a Gemini space capsule while on the ground as part of their training for the Gemini X orbital flight.  Here they were able to maneuver the capsule and test all the capsule's systems, as they would while in actual orbit of the earth.
These posters were used in schools in the '60s as an educational tool, and the back of the poster has several paragraphs of info related to the picture.  They came with pinholes pre-punched through in the corners so they could be hung on bulletin boards, etc. in classrooms and librarys, and one of the holes has been punched completely through.  Poster measures 18" x 13".  I remember these posters myself in some of my grade school classrooms while growing up in Chicago.  Poster has some creasing and light bends and right side corner wear.  Would look great on display.
